Vision of Sound podcast finale episode.
For over a year I’ve been working on The Vision of Sound, a podcast on the intersection of art & music. It’s been an absolute pleasure chatting to creative people that make work about or inspired by music, and I’ve learnt so much!
Now at the end of series one, we decided to make the last episode a bit different so it’s myself and the podcast’s sound designer Francis Redman, talking about making the podcast in this crazy year, some of the threads that link each episode and some of our highlights!
As well as hearing details about the making of this podcast, it’s also a great listen if you’re thinking about starting a podcast yourself, or to have a think about process.
Have a listen via the links below, or on all good podcast platforms!
If you haven’t listened to any episodes at all yet -please do and let us know what you think via a rating or a review or contribution to our new Buy Me A Coffee pot!

Ali also shares insight on being an artist with a hungry social media following, living and working outside of a big city and what he’s listening to.
“Let me explain what I mean and what was arranged. Apart from photographing the gigs during the week of the New Music Seminar, and the shoots that happened through those days, I knew at the close of the festival I was there to meet with Nirvana for a photo shoot. So far so organised. Thing was, I had enough bad experience to know it would be a chaotic shit fight of a day no matter what guarantees anyone supposed they had.”
