Shutter Hub

Thanks so much to Shutter Hub for awarding me a membership bursary; I’m chuffed to pieces and am now proudly displaying their banner on this site.

I’ve been a fan of their work for a few years now and love the way they promote photographers and their absence of old-boys-club vibes that a lot of other photography organisations and groups sadly still have.

I am looking forward to gaining valuable insight into my work via their monthly surgeries and annual portfolio review. To have support and perspective from other photographers is invaluable and I hope it will help to make me braver! If you’re also a Shutter Hub photographer please say Hi.

Recently, I entered two of Shutter Hub’s online exhibitions including Working From Home and am proud to have work selected for it. As so many photographers have been stuck at home for weeks now, it’s a particularly well timed subject. The images that I contributed were shot just a few weeks ago, including this one of my long suffering camera subject husband, who’s legacy will forever be related to him Working From Bed.
